Our Royal Declarations

Booking a Party:

To fully secure a date, we require a deposit and a signed contract.
Your date is not guaranteed until both of these have been received.
Your Character may be performed by any of our talented actresses. We choose
the best and most fitting actress for your chosen character. You may
request a specific performer and we will do our best to accommodate your
request, but we cannot guarantee that your request can be accommodated.

Final Count and RSVP Policy:

The party host is responsible for providing a final count of guests 4 days prior to the
date of the party. Party Packages which have charges based on guest count will
be adjusted accordingly. This count should include the birthday child. If a guest does not attend the day of the party, we cannot provide a refund. If additional guests attend, we cannot
guarantee that we will have sufficient supplies. An accurate count 4 days prior to the
party is important!

Payments:

Deposits are required for all parties or events. Finally payments are due the day prior to the
party unless otherwise noted to the credit card used for the deposit.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we will work with you to
determine an alternative for your party.
The balance is due the day prior to the party by credit card or PayPal.
Any final payment not made may be subject to a $400 recovery fee in Illinois
or $600 out of Illinois plus attorney/court fees and costs.

Gratuity:

Gratuity is not included in the price of the party paid to Chicago Princess Party. If you are happy with your performer, it is customary to provide 10-15% gratuity.

Travel Fee:

Party Packages include round trip travel within a 20 mile radius from 60605. A travel fee of $0.63per mile will be charged for travel beyond this zone.

Communication:

Once your deposit and contract are received, you will receive a written contract. We generally
contact the host 3-4 days prior to party to confirm all information and your performer will contact the host when they are ready to drive to the party and give them their estimated time of arrival. Adult’s role during our performance: An adult must be present in the same area as the character and children throughout the party. Children under the age of 3 require assistance by their caregivers as they are too young for most games and for Safety. Parents are welcome to stay, help and enjoy the party.

Liability for Damage:

Our characters will treat your home with the utmost respect and provide professional service. Chicago Princess Party assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damage caused by party guests. We appreciate your assurance to ensure that our assets are treated gently, carefully and with respect. As the client, you will be held financially liable for any damage incurred to our items. Any activity that is not part of our packages (crafts, games, other activities) that you wish to have our performer participate in must be approved by Diane Thomas, owner, prior to the event, no exceptions.

Space Requirements:

Please provide a clean and open space indoors or a deck/patio outdoors for us to
entertain and play with the children. Areas where toys are out of site will help
to keep children engaged during character led activities.
Rooms that are free of toys also prevent falls and accidents from happening. If your package
includes a craft, please have a table available for us to use or have a c
lean floor space.
If the party is planned for outside please have contingency
plan or in climate weather or dampness.

Food & Drinks:

We ask that the children be served either before or preferably after the performer’s time at your
party. We want to avoid sticky hands or spilling of drinks on our costumes. Before the
performer leaves, he/she will lead the singing of “Happy Birthday” to the guest of honor. This is a perfect time to cut the cake, and allows the Performer to leave gracefully. The Dress Up Package costumes may not be worn while eating or drinking. The performer is not to prepare or serve food or drink at the party.

Photography:

Premier Princess Parties reserve the right to use photos taken
during the party for promotional purposes. These photos will not identify the
child’s full name, age, or residence. And we are
happy to allow you to take as many photos and/or video footage as you like.
